The name is not a figure of speech: the house goes to the soil for its material. Centifolia rose, tuberose and lavandin grow in its own fields in Grasse, planted in 2016 and Ecocert certified, before entering the formulas. Each fragrance is then built on the overdose of a single natural material, chosen for its raw strength and pushed until it saturates the composition. The reading becomes frank — you know what you are smelling. Few perfumers control their chain from the planting; Aurélien Guichard claims it.
