Collection: FRÉDÉRIC MALLE

The perfumer is treated as an author here: their name appears on the bottle, in full, and the formula is limited neither by an ingredient budget nor by a marketing brief. That is the principle set in 2000 by a house that presents itself not as a brand but as a publisher of perfumes, the first of its kind. Musc Ravageur is signed Maurice Roucel in 2000, French Lover by Pierre Bourdon in 2007, Portrait of a Lady by Dominique Ropion in 2010; Jean-Claude Ellena is among the house authors. Frédéric Malle himself does not compose — he publishes.
