Everything starts with the choice of one raw material, a single one, which becomes the starting point of the composition rather than an ingredient among others. The house, based in the Palais-Royal district, calls itself independent and creator-led, and claims a French production faithful to the ingredient. Its founder, born in Paris in 1989, opened BDK Parfums there in 2016. The collection is conceived as an olfactory library: each bottle tells of a place, a figure or a moment, and reads alone as well as with the others.
