Theodoros Kalotinis is a Greek perfumer-creator, born and raised in Heraklion, Crete. Introduced to scents in childhood by his grandmother from Smyrna—who would invite him to blindly identify aromatic herbs and spices—he developed an exceptional nose very early on. With studies in Chemistry, a master's in Cosmetic Science, and international perfumery training, his erudition serves a single obsession: to capture gourmand emotion in a bottle.
In 2012, he invented a patented method that combines high perfumery raw materials with naturally distilled alcohol from Greek grapes—a unique olfactory signature worldwide. His creations have been praised by Vogue France, Elle, and L'Officiel, and recognized by the international press as "the king of gourmand perfumes." His consecration came in 2018 when he composed bespoke perfumes for His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
