PlanèteBeauty is a family-run niche perfumery founded in 2020 by Benoit Hodiesne, managing director of BHTC, and based in Metz, France. The site brings together 200 perfumes from 40 niche houses, selected reference by reference.
A personal selection, not an aggregator
Every house present on PlanèteBeauty was chosen individually: confidential French houses, independent European creators, perfumeries from the Middle East and Asia. The catalogue favours distinctive creations — those carrying a perfumer’s signature — over exhaustiveness. This tight selection makes it possible to document every reference in depth: complete olfactory pyramid, family, perfumer whenever the house discloses it, seasons and occasions of wear.
Authenticity and sourcing
Every perfume sold on PlanèteBeauty is an authentic, new product, bought from identified suppliers: eleven houses supply us directly; for the others, we buy from perfumery trade professionals. The details published on every product page — notes, concentration, perfumer — are taken from the houses’ official sources.
Advice before the sale
Niche perfumery is rarely bought blind. PlanèteBeauty has developed several tools to guide the choice: an olfactory quiz that recommends perfumes according to your profile, product pages detailing the complete pyramid of notes, and a Try Me 2 ml trial size on a selection of references, to test on skin before investing in a full bottle. A 5% cashback programme also rewards loyalty.

Orders are prepared in Metz: in-stock items ordered before 2pm (Paris time), Monday to Friday excluding public holidays, ship the same day; FedEx Express shipments (United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, French overseas territories and countries outside Europe) require 1 business day of preparation, and made-to-order items 3 to 6 business days. Returns are possible within 30 days for sealed products, under our return policy.
