The PlanèteBeauty olfactory quiz is a free recommendation tool that identifies the niche perfumes matching your profile. It compares your answers with the entire catalogue — 205 perfumes from 44 niche houses — every one of them fully documented: olfactory family, pyramid of notes, seasons and occasions, intensity of sillage.
How the quiz works
The journey counts 5 questions, each linked to the catalogue’s real olfactory data:
Gender — feminine, masculine or unisex.
Occasion — everyday wear, evenings, dates or special occasions.
Season — from the fresh and flowery feel of spring to the deep intensity of winter.
Desired presence — intimate, moderate or assertive, which maps to the perfume’s sillage.
Olfactory universes — woody, oriental, floral, gourmand, fresh… with the option of selecting several.
Once the 5 questions are answered, the quiz analyses your profile and displays a personalised selection: the perfumes in the catalogue whose characteristics — family, season, occasion, sillage — best match your answers. You can retake the quiz as many times as you like to explore other profiles.
Why the recommendations are reliable
The quiz does not rely on generic associations: every perfume in the PlanèteBeauty catalogue has a complete olfactory record — top, heart and base notes, family, main accord, recommended seasons, longevity and sillage — filled in reference by reference. That documented database is what the quiz queries to build your selection.
And after the quiz?
Each recommendation links to the perfume’s full product page, where you will find the detailed olfactory pyramid and, on a selection of references, a Try Me 2 ml trial size to test on skin before committing to a full bottle.
